controller principle The volume controller at the top of a Varifix pipettes is detachable and can be exchanged for another. Using the CAPP volume controllers, you can very quickly and easily change between often used volumes simply by switching one controller for another. Extra volume controllers, fixed as well as variable, can be ordered at any time at prices far below complete pipettes. Fixed volume controllers can be custom made at any volume within the range of the particular pipette. |

setting stays visible The detachable controllers makes the volume setting equally visible for left- and right handed users. Simply pull off the controller, turn it 180°C and put it back into place to change orientation. Further, having the volume setting at the very top means that your hand never obscures the setting during work. With the CAPP volume controllers, the volume setting of the pipette is easily visible at all times. |

and more reproducible Changing between frequently used volumes is considerably quicker and offers much better reproducibility when you are using a set of fixed volume controllers. Each controller is calibrated at the exact volume setting and there are no uncertainties in terms of turning the dial to the same point every time. For series of similar experiments, the exchangeable volume controllers allow you to work quicker and obtain more reliable results. You can also choose to use several variable volume controllers for the same pipette -- each set and locked at a given volume. This combines the volume switching advantages with the full flexibility of variable volume setting. Finally, the CAPP volume dial has a lower number of turns from top to bottom volume than other variable volume pipettes, saving time and efforts.

| Taking
performance to new heights The CappAero is the only pipette available that actively helps keeping the interior temperature constant. With the new air vented handle, the air from inside the handle is exchanged with cooler air from the surroundings when the plunger moves up and down.
